The recording sounded like empty nursery noise until it was reversed.

No voice is audible at normal speed in the original waveform, and technicians found no obvious hidden track. Reversing only the lowest-frequency band makes the phrase clear. The monitor had no recording feature according to the manufacturer.
The record remains in the archive because it shares at least one recurring marker with later incidents: an extra room, a duplicated person, a timestamp that precedes its cause, or a numbered door that should not exist.
