INCIDENT 015: THE LAST VOICEMAIL
My father left a voicemail six months after his phone service ended.
He spent the entire message telling me not to visit his grave that afternoon.
Recovered notes
Carrier records show no incoming call, but the voicemail file bears a valid internal timestamp. A lightning strike damaged the cemetery during the exact hour of the planned visit and split the tree beside the father’s grave.
The record remains in the archive because it shares at least one recurring marker with later incidents: an extra room, a duplicated person, a timestamp that precedes its cause, or a numbered door that should not exist.
ARCHIVE WARNING / Some timestamps in this section predate the public site. They are presented as part of the fictional 31 Doors experience.
